My name is Natalie Harris, and though I have not had the pleasure of working in a professional setting other than three months of internship for a VR/AR Combat Medical Training Simulation, I am driven and determined to better my work and expand my horizons. I graduate in May 2020, and hope to find my footing before then. My goal is to specialize in character modeling, texturing, fabrics, and animation. I am currently working on at least two projects that I know will enhance my portfolio. Feel free to give me input and pointers.
I was the Team Leader for the project: Tactical Combat Casualty Care Training Simulation for the Naval Medic Center at Camp Lejeune. We were tasked to create an immersive environment where the player would use their in-field medical training to patch up a 3D modeled wounded soldier. The goal was, the players would be in a safe environment where they had access to a patient care dummy and while working on the dummy in real life, the reactions would be sent to the VR version of the wounded solider to give a more in-depth effect.
